atlanta dental billing information

Our financial policy requires that payment is due at the time of service.

Patients who do not have insurance can apply for a dental loan through our office.

However, when patients have dental insurance, there are cases where our estimate of how much their dental insurance company is going to pay is wrong. This results in the patient later having a balance due. Insurance companies almost always notify patients of a payment before sending this payment to a dentist. This helps eliminate fraud. The balance due on your account is due then and we expect you to send in the remaining balance.

If we do not receive your payment by the end of the month, a bill will be sent to you through the mail. Please pay this bill promptly. However, we would sincerely appreciate it if you would send your payment before the end of the month so that sending a bill can be avoided. Billing is expensive and involves our staff member's time.

We do not charge for the first two bills but when a patient refuses to pay their balance after two bills we must then charge to send additional bills. A finance charge is added to a patient's account each month that the bill is not paid. This charge offsets our costs. Our dentists in georgia understand that the costs of dental care are an important factor in their patients achieving excellent dental health and our staff is always ready to assist our patients with their financial options.
