Atlanta General Dentist

         In 1988, our Atlanta general dentist Dr. Mark Allan Padolsky, was awarded a Fellowship in the American Academy of General Dentistry. In a rigorous process a Fellow distinguishes himself professionally through attending 500 hours of continuing dental education, maintaining three years of membership in the AGD, passing a comprehensive examination and culminated with receiving the award at the convocation ceremony held at the Annual Meeting & Exposition. The AGD is a national organization of general dentists.     

         Our Atlanta general dentist demonstrated his passion for Dentistry when he went on to earn a Master status in the American Academy of General Dentistry in 2002. Achieving Mastership is a professional designation within the Academy of General Dentistry beyond Fellowship and reflects a general dentist's ongoing commitment to provide the best care he can through continuing education. A member achieving this distinction has completed a challenging course of hands-on study in 16 dental disciplines, totaling 600 hours of continuing education. More than 1,300 members have gone on to receive Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), the highest distinction that a member can achieve through their continuing education program.

         This Atlanta General Dentist has practiced in Atlanta since 1982. In 1990 Dr. Padolsky received another Fellowship in the Atlanta Craniomandibular ( TMJ ) Society. The Society was dedicated to the multi disciplinary study of TMJ Dysfunction. Dr. P is also a past president of this society and served as Vice President and General Meeting Chairman in 1989.

         In September 2000, our Atlanta general dentist again earned a Fellowship in the American Orthodontic Society. He was also given an Achievement Award by the AOS for his extensive participation in continuing education related to orthodontics.
