atlanta snoring

There are different causes of Atlanta Atlanta Atlanta snoring. Anything that narrows or blocks the airway can cause Atlanta snoring. A Atlanta snoring patient does not breath well and has a blockage somewhere in the airway. The patient who snores wakes up tired and can stay tired for most of the day. The rest of the Atlanta snoring patient's family can often suffer from the same fatigue if the Atlanta snoring is loud.

In many cases Atlanta snoring can be treated by a dentist using dental appliances that either hold the soft palate in place or pull the tongue and lower jaw forward. The dentist's treatment is reversible unlike many surgical treatments. It makes good sense to see a dentist before agreeing to Atlanta snoring surgery.

Snoring patients can not easily breath though their noses. A snorer frequently has nasal blockage due to nasal allergies or the inside of the snorer's nose is not shaped correctly. This prevents good airflow through the nose and the vibration of the tissues.

The tongue may fall back into the airway narrowing the airway and causing airway blockage. Bad airflow causes the tissues in the oral region to vibrate like a musical instrument, especially the soft palate.

Things that make Atlanta snoring worse are:

               Overweight            lack of exercise
               smoking                 alcohol
               acid reflux              poor health
               age                          hormone imbalances

Many of the above things cause congestion of the Atlanta snoring patient's throat tissues which leads to swelling of fluids within the tissues. The congestion causes loss of muscle tone and makes the tissues lining the airway flop around. Some Atlanta snoring patients actually stop breathing during the night. This is called sleep apnea and is much more serious than just a Atlanta snoring problem. A snoring patient with sleep apnea actually has less oxygen in the blood than normal.
