In 1988 Dr. Padolsky was awarded a Fellowship in the American Academy of General Dentistry ( FAGD).
Dr. Padolsky recently finished a four year program at the University of Alabama Dental School and will be receving his Mastership from the American Academy of General Dentistry in 2002.
In 1990 he received another Fellowship in the Atlanta Craniomandibular ( TMJ ) Society. The Society was dedicated to the multi-disciplinary study of TMJ Dysfunction. Dr. P is also a past president of this society and served as Vice President and General Meeting Chairman in 1989.
In September 2000, Dr. Padolsky again earned a Fellowship in the American Orthodontic Society. He was also given an achievement award by the AOS for his extensive participation in continuing education related to orthodontics.

Dr. Padolsky graduated from the Emory University School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree in 1982. He was in the Honors Periodontal and Honors Clinical Programs. One instructor commented that Dr. Padolsky had done more crowns and bridges than any other student in the history of the dental school.
Dr. Padolsky is currently participating in a Mastership program at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry.
In 1977/78 Dr. Padolsky was a researcher and part time instructor at the Harvard University School of Public Health, Department of Environmental Safety and Health. At that time he also did consulting work with the Head of that Department.
Dr. Padolsky first attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and in 1977 he graduated with a Bachelors of Science (BS) Degree in Biochemistry with " High Honors " ( Magna Cum Laude ).He was awarded a coveted Phi Beta Kappa membership while at UMass and was a member of the Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity. Dr. P served as a Head of Residence/Counselor at John Adams Dormitory for two years

Dr. Padolsky was born in Boston, Massachusetts on May 15, 1954 and grew up in neighboring Chelsea, Massachusetts. He served as his Junior High School Vice President and later went on to become the Chelsea Senior High School Junior Vice President. Dr. Padolsky played on the Varsity Football Team for two years and while on the Chelsea Varsity Track team he won more first places in the discus completion that any other competitor in the Greater Boston High School League during his Senior year. In 1971 he was chosen to represent Chelsea at Boy's State and was elected Lieutenant Governor for the State of Massachusetts. The National Science Foundation awarded him a scholarship to study at Northeastern University while still in high school. Dr. Padolsky was the President of his high school chess club and Vice President of the city chess club.

Dr. Padolsky has lived in the Atlanta Area since 1978 and has practiced Dentistry there since 1982. He married his wife, Linda, in July of 1979 and has three children ( Benjamin, Sarah, and Jonathan). Dr. Padolsky has served on the Board of Directors of the Northside Kiwanis and was an advisor to the Georgia Tech Kiwanis Club for two years. He volunteers by providing his services to the Catholic Sisters of Mercy at Saint Joseph's Hospital through their Mercy Mobile Program where he primarily treats children whose parents do not have the money to care for their kids.
