feet, legs, or fingers
Magnesium
deficiency can cause chest tightness that makes a patient feel
like she can not take a deep breath.
It's necessary
for good mental health.
A magnesium deficiency can cause:
nervousness
irritability
insomnia
depression
confusion
apprehension
a sensitivity to noise
Magnesium
deficiency could be a factor in connective tissue disorders. Both
the TMJ ( jaw joint ) and mitral valve are made
out of connective tissue so that a deficiency can cause inadequate
development in either their form and/or function.
Magnesium deficiency interrupts insulin secretion in the pancreas and increases insulin resistance in the body's tissues. A deficiency of magnesium can therefore worsen blood sugar control in adult onset diabetics.
Many patients with TMJ problems often have mitral valve prolapse, attention deficit disorder (ADD),migraines, fibromyalgia, asthma and allergies.
