
Manager Trainee
The Atlanta Dental Group is looking for a highly motivated person to help take charge of our growing dental practice. Yes, we have been growing. We've gone from one dentist to four dentists in four years. This growth has been a problem because it never allowed many previous staff to achieve the warm feeling of completely doing a good job. There was almost always too much to do.
You
might think that the solution would be to hire more experienced
staff but the problem was that we do Dentistry differently. The
real solution is to hire the right kind of people and train them
well. The person without prior experience will not bring the management
prejudices to the job. This person must be a hard working and
self motivated person who will study our practice manuals and
learn to do things right.

The
applicant must be familiar with Microsoft Windows 98 or above
and have a basic knowledge of how computers work. The ability
to type would be extremely helpful. Because of the large volume
of reading, we are restricting our interviews only to individuals
who have graduated from a four year college and who have earned
a bachelor's degree.
The manager trainee must read, study, and fully understand all
the practice handbooks. There are about 10 of these handbooks.
Eventually the manager trainee will be taking over the duties
of managing the dental practice and should KNOW everything about
the practice and how it is run.
Training
will take approximately one year, assuming that the right person
is hired and accepts the job. You can learn a lot about the Atlanta

Upon
promotion to manager status, the manager will get a significant
raise and become eligible for bonus pay based on the practice's
and the manager's own performance. There are several promotion
routes including to Financial Manager, Appointment Manager, Marketing
Manager, and Office Manager. We are growing and much is happening.
If
you are interested in this position, come in right away. We are
getting ready to explode and we need you. There will be lots to
do but it will be very rewarding for the right person. If you
are this person, you will receive a personalized training program
that will help you achieve specific goals. There will be lots
and lots of reading that will require you to understand and do
everything in the reading. Dr. Padolsky will be closely working
with the trainee to assist with achieving all the training goals.
