Atlanta Dental Assistant Job

           The Atlanta Dental Group PC is seeking a caring and loving person who enjoys serving others. It is our goal to make each patient's dental care pleasant and enjoyable. To achieve this goal, we need people dedicated to being excellent.

           This training position involves learning all the duties of a dental staff member, including:

          Professionally answering the telephones
          Managing dental insurance
          Taking dental x-rays
          Taking dental impressions and constructing plaster casts
          Patient education
          Surgical dental assisting and a lot more

          We prefer to mold people with the right personality and spirit from the start of their education rather than hiring the wrong people who just know how to do the job. Successful training will lead to a career position with our dental practice. It involves intensive self directed study at home with weekly testing to insure that the trainee does well. The trainee must be dedicated to completing the required study and learning projects at home while working a full time dental job. For most people, completing all of the training involves approximately one year of study.

          We provide the trainee with learning packs on each dental subject. Each pack has a multiple choice test that must be taken and passed each week. Many subjects also have special projects which the trainee must complete within an assigned period of time.

          Along with providing a dental education at no cost to the trainee, this position offers a full time paid entry level position at the Atlanta Dental Group, PC. The pay is limited the first year until the trainee completes all dental studies. The applicant must be a responsible person who has an excellent work history and consistently shows up for work on time every day. Some computer knowledge in Windows 98 and typing is needed to complete some computer based training.
