bad tooth

Most of the time, a bad tooth comes from a lack of oral hygiene. Although the white enamel coating is very hard, the acids generated from dental bacteria can dissolve the enamel and allow the bacteria to invade the inside of the tooth. This is what tooth decay does. At first there's just hot and cold sensitivity or perhaps a sensitivity to sweets but the the dental pain seems to start lasting longer and longer as time goes on.

A really bad tooth hurts over a minute, keeps you up at night and just won't stop hurting after you take an over the counter pain reliever. These are signs that you are in trouble and it is very possible that you'll need a root canal. Fortunately, root canal therapy has advanced tremendously in the past few decades and most of the time, having a root canal done is about the same as having any other dental procedure.

Pain when you bite may be from a high filling but a bad tooth that has a dental abscess can also feel high. As pus build up below the tooth and the ligament around the tooth becomes inflammed, the whole tooth rises up out of its socket and hits first before all the other teeth. If the bite isn't adjusted, the tooth will be battered back and forth until all of the surrounding tissues become inflammed and infected. Now you've got a real problem!

If you have a bad tooth, the place to be is in a dental office. The consequences of keeping a dead tooth with a tooth abscess can be severe and quite expensive. The dentists working at the group are dedicated to their patients' good health and well being. You are welcome to join our family of patients.
