          Dental implant surgery is performed in the dental implant center under local anaesthesia. The whole process takes about a hour or two and because there are no nerves in bone for feeling, the procedure is generally very comfortable. After the dental implants have healed, patients return for their reconstructions. Each patient is different and there are many different ways to reconstruct a patient based upon the bone they have available, the specific location of the implants and of course, the available amount of funds that the patient is comfortable investing in dental work.
