It is also important to know emergency dental procedures. For example, if a tooth is knocked out, find the tooth and pick it up by the crown, NOT BY THE ROOTS. Rinse it quickly and place it in a container with milk and then see your dentist immediately. Doing this can help save the tooth since many evulsed teeth can be reimplanted. You can even save a broken tooth or chipped tooth.
