Frenectomy Procedure

information from the  Atlanta Dental Group PC

A frenectomy is a simple procedure that is done in the dental office using local anaesthesia. A hemostat is clamped to the frenum and using a scalpel, the tissue is cut away from the top and bottom of the hemostat. After removal of the tissue, the remaining tissue are sutured to avoid reforming a new frenum. The visit usually takes only a half hour.

If you are having dental problems, need a frenectomy procedure and would like to consult with Dr. Padolsky, please make an appointment by calling 404-874-7428.
