There is nothing worse than being up all night with a tooth ache and not being able to see a dentist immediately! Because of this, we will fit new or established Georgia dental emergency patients into our schedule.

If you have an Georgia dental emergency and would like to see an Atlanta dentist, call  404-874-7428 and let the Appointment Manager know that you're in pain and have a dental emergency. Be sure to explain that you're having dental pain so that your appointment will be made a priority!

Our Atlanta dentists have put together some important information for you about several dental emergency topics. We have also included some dental links to further assist you in understanding and handling your dental pain.

Dental pain is nature's way of telling you that there's a dental problem. You probably have pulpitis inside the tooth and if no toothache cure has worked, you should see a dentist immediately because you might have a dental infection. If a dental infection is left untreated it may result in facial swelling and the need for the dentist to place you in a hospital. Pain after root canal therapy can very often be reduced with simple treatment.

Consider calling your dentist. If you are an established patient, pain reducing and antibiotic medications can be called into a pharmacy for you until you can get in to the dental office to see the dentist. Even if you can't receive full treatment that day, in some case a partial root canal can be started to get you out of pain.

Lost, Broken, or Chipped Fillings

If you're not experiencing dental pain, there's usually less of an immediate need to see a dentist right away. However, the problem with your filling may be due to an underlying painless cavity in your tooth. Delay in seeing a dentist may result in the decay growing and later need for a root canal to save this tooth.

In this case you must go to a dentist immediately with the tooth that came out. Until you can get to a dentist you can place the tooth in your cheek or in a glass of milk. In many cases the dentist can place your tooth back into it's socket. However, you must see the dentist immediately to better the chances of this procedure working.

If you have an Georgia dental emergency and a home remedy for a toothache has not been effective, make an appointment with Dr. Padolsky or Dr. Smith, call 404-874-7428.

New are patients welcome !!
