Root Canal Dentist

           Dr. Chung, our root canal dentist, is a general dentist who joined the Atlanta Dental Group PC in July 2008 and we are proud to have him as a member of our patient care team. He attended the University of California from 1998-2003 where he graduated with a B.S. in Biology and a Minor in Business Administration Although he practices general denistry, much of the focus of his daily dental care is doing root canal therapy. Dr. C has continued his dental education by attending many courses on this subject.

          This root canal dentist performs all of the endodontic treatment in our dental practice and he enjoys this area of Dentistry. He uses an apex locator, a sonar-like instrument, to find the canal's exact end, a digital x-ray system which provides immediate radiographic information and ultrasonic cleaning and shaping equipment. Many of the procedures are done in one visit and most patients are quite comfortable during their procedures.
