tooth ache remedy

Many people will do anything to find a tooth ache remedy if they have a bad toothache. Unfortunately the only true cure is to fix the problem that is causing the toothache, anything else is just masking the problem, which, could allow the problem to grow. It is a good idea to see a dentist as soon as you notice abnormal pain. The longer you wait before having something done the worse the problem can become, and if you wait too long it could also further limit possible solutions.

        A
tooth ache remedy depends on the cause. The right remedy is different for each different problem. First diagnose of the cause of the pain. Generally the causes of a toothache are a tooth abscess, cavity, pulpitis or a even a dead tooth. Often the problem can be as simple as food particles stuck between the teeth, causing irritation to the gums and teeth. Flossing can dislodge the food and often fix the tooth ache. With cavities drilling and a dental filling can often solve the problem. If the tooth is dead you will either need a root canal or a tooth extraction. A root canal is generally the better idea because it allows the patient to keep the tooth. If the tooth is extracted it will need to be replaced, either with a dental bridge or a dental implant.

Oil of cloves is a famous and often used tooth ache remedy. It is important to remember that this can only offer temporary relief from pain. Make an appointment with an emergency dentist as soon as possible. Over the counter drugs can also relieve pain until your dental appointment. Aspirin, Tylenol and ibuprofen can provide significant relief. Drugs such as vicodin and percocet must be prescribed by a doctor for use, so they're no good till after your appointment.
